Wildlife Report

John Hardy was giving us the latest wildlife report at the dinner table this evening after he saw a man outside our gate that had a monkey on a leash.  So we started a list of the different animals that we have seen so far in Chad.  They are listed in order of most common occurrence to least.

Mosquitos
Lizards
Mourning Doves
Crickets
Dogs
Cats
Goats
Hedgehog
Monkey

At this point, being in the capital city, the wildlife is somewhat limited.  When we get farther out in smaller cities and villages we will get to see more wildlife.  Here is a picture of our neighbor's pet hedgehog, Tiddlywink
