Holiday by the Sea

There's nothing better than taking a 'holiday' by the sea.  It took me about a week to stop saying the word 'vacation' and tell people here that we were on 'holiday'.  England, although they speak English like we do, really is a totally different place with a different language and different customs.  We ate Yorkshire Pudding, or "Pud" as they call it, we swam in the English Channel, thought it was much to cold to do that, and we had lots of tea, and we drove on the "wrong" side of the road.  We had a wonderful time, it was not exactly 'home', but a great 'holiday'.
