Castles
We just finished our year of Greek and Roman history, and will be gearing up to start the Renaissance and the Reformation. It is the perfect time to tour a castle, and there just happened to be one close by the house where we were staying. We were able to tour the rooms and holds of Arundel Castle, where the Duke of Norfolk lives today. The kids were fascinated, and it has peaked our interest in the school year ahead. We left with lots of questions that we hope to find the answers to in the coming year. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to take pictures inside most of the castle, so our photos mostly are of the outside and of the gardens. It was quite grand and beautiful.
At the end of the day, we tried to create some funny photos. Here are our best efforts at making the kids look like giants.
