Finders Keepers, Losers Weepers!

This is the hard truth we learned this week as we returned from the capital to find almost all the chocolate in our Freezer had been eaten by our 'house-sitter'.   We have gotten a few mixed answers as to whether or not this is culturally normal, but it seems that it was very African to say the least.  The sad part was that because not every westerner has a freezer, we were actually keeping chocolate and cheese for another family here, so it was probably about $100 worth of chocolate we had either brought, or supporters had sent.  It is a ugly reality when you find yourself saying again, "Yes Lord, that thing did have too big of a place in my heart, and now, I want to put you alone back on the throne.  Chocolate has been de-throned in my heart, and I am looking to Jesus to satisfy my longings.  Thankfully He is more than enough to satisfy all our greatest desires.
