The Jungle Lawn...
I have been reading FB posts for the past month about people having to mow their lawns, or resisting the urge to mow their lawns, and here we are, with a jungle lawn that we just have not had time to mow. Besides the fact that it needs mowed, there are these funny patterns in it, where we fertilized it, but maybe not very evenly...oops. It's not totally noticeable until you are on the second floor, looking down. (Notice the striped look of the front yard.)
We also put some tree fertilizer spikes in the ground last fall, and now there are these funny tufts of grass growing up around the spikes.
Today we had brunch with a couple that lived and worked in Africa, in a place that is a lot like the place we are going.
The husband said, "You want to work in Africa...hmmm...It's kind of like pouring Miracle Grow on your sin."
Oh Boy!
