Who Am I?
This is a question that has brought up in lots of conversation lately. Maybe it's because our lives are taking on a totally new direction, maybe because we aren't the same people we were before we had children, maybe because we have forgotten what a hobby is... There are plenty of reasons we have asked ourselves lately, "who am I"? It would be nice if we could just take a test and find out the answer. Obviously, it is a little more complicated than that, but part of our training this week was to help us find out who we are so that when we are working with a group, we can be aware of our own tendencies and short comings. So, here is the summary, (more or less) that we ended up with at the end of the week....what do you think?
James:
Quiet, friendly, responsible and conscientious. Committed and steady in meeting their obligations. Sensitive and kind. Enjoy the present moment, what's going on around them. Like to have their own space and to work within their own time frame. Loyal and committed to their values and to people who are important to them. Strives to create an orderly and harmonious environment at work and home. Dislike disagreements and conflicts.
Lindsey:
Warmly enthusiastic and imaginative. Empathetic, responsive and responsible. See life as full of possibilities. Make connections between events and information very quickly and confidently proceed based on the patterns they see. Want a lot of affirmation from others. Spontaneous and flexible, often rely on their ability to improvise. Loyal, responsive to praise and criticism. Sociable, facilitate others in a group, and provide inspiring leadership.
Now add 6 more adult personalities, and 13 unique children, and what do you get? A wonderfully complete, complex and beautiful expression of the body of Christ! Heres to Team!!!
