Keeping an Eye On It

Thank you to all of you who prayed for Eliana and asked about how she was doing with all the doctor visits.  We are glad to find out that urgent surgery is not needed.  There is a slight difference between her eyes (the one with the bone growth is pushed out just a few millimeters more than the other), but at this point, without knowing how fast it is growing, they decided just to wait and monitor it's condition.  So what does that look like?  We will be following up with the ophthalmologist, and neurosurgeon in 6 months and then again in a year, and we'll take another look at it then.  We are glad that our plans didn't have to be totally changed right now, and Eliana has decided that a little a-symmetry in her face is better than surgery!
