Hospital update 1.23.17
Monday, January 23rd
Tobias' inability to breathe on his own has not changed, but he has showed some hope of improvement. Each day his oxygen is decreased by a small amount, and each night they have to turn it back up. Falling into a deep sleep is the hardest time for him to maintain good oxygen levels and a slow, normal breathing rate. So we'll try again tonight, and hope that he can keep weaning off the breathing support.
At home James continues to fill the role of Dad and Mom, keeping kids fed and happy and continuing to act as substitute home school teacher. I think they make get well cards for Tobias at least every other day and have sent me quite a few photos of well wishes.

So glad to hear the update that he is improving, slowly but surely. We will keep up the prayers. Bethany & Cara say "We love you!"
