Sunday School or Petting Zoo?

The local church here is small, but they still have a Sunday school for kids.  Our kids enjoy going, even though they don’t understand everything.  One reason that they enjoy going to Sunday school is that it lets out halfway through the church service, and so for the remainder of the time, they go over to the pastors house next-door and hang out in their yard and play with the other kids and animals that live there.  It is pretty much a small petting zoo.  They have Guinea hens, bunny rabbits, goats, donkeys, ducks, chickens and a dog.  Last week, they told us about the baby bunnies and the one day old goat that they got to play with.  They also enjoy climbing the tree, and playing ball with the pastor’s kids.  Sunday school has now taken on a whole new meaning!
