My New Theme Song

We don't get to listen to the radio to know what music is new in the States, so pretty much we just ask our friends what they are listening to these days.  The other option is to see if any of the music artists we currently listen to have put out any new songs.  Well, one of our favorites just put out a single, and it has become my new theme song.  TobyMac's new song "Beyond Me" pretty much sums up my life.  Everything I feel God has called me to do is beyond my capabilities, and it is forcing me to depend on him much more.  In fact, I was just telling a friend of mine the other day that if I could give one piece of advice to people living in the US it would be to choose to do something that you know you couldn't do without the Lord stepping in to make it happen.  I don't mean like bungee jumping, or 'fear factor' kind of feats, but things that make much of God.  Have you ever thought of adopting, maybe starting a Bible Study in your neighborhood, or it could mean committing time to a needy person in your life...the possibilities are endless.  Is there something you feel God is calling you to do that seems impossible, all the better.  Toward the end of 2 Corinthians, Paul begins boasting about his weaknesses, because in his weakness, God is magnified and shown to be strong.  So get out there and do something that shows your weakness, for where there is weakness, God is present.
