Hali-berry Finn

Hali is our live-in drama queen, so it was no surprise when her first tooth was loose that she began to tell us about it.  Well 6 months later, it finally fell out.  She has always had a pretty smile, and the first thing she said when it came out was that she didn't like the way her smile looked.  It does take a bit of getting used to, but I can honestly say that it makes me smile every time I see her.  In Chad, it's hard for a kid to stay clean, and most days Hali wears some dirt on her face, so when she grins at me, I can't help but imagining a straw hat, some raggedy old overalls, and a piece of wheat grass hanging out of her mouth.  Here's to our 'Hali-berry Finn'.
