Eat Yellow Snow!

This is a phrase you will only hear in the South.  In the North, no one would ever eat yellow snow, or think such a phrase to even be funny.  But in Texas, where snow is few and far between, the only kind of snow one will find is the artificial and flavored kind.  Bahama Bucks is a Lubbock original shaved ice place that has made it's motto "Eat Yellow Snow".  We had fun treating ourselves to "yellow snow", or whatever flavor you fancied.  They have anything from pina-colada (our favorite) to pickle juice (yuck).  Every shaved ice comes with color change spoon, and miniature umbrella.  Their website even touts that they are now the largest importer in the U.S. of miniature umbrellas.  Definitely a plus with our kids.
