Hali's Birthday

Because of the delivery, we are covering birthdays this month in reverse order.  This is the first time that two of our kids have a birthday in the same month.  So Hali and William will have to share the month of October.  Hali's birthday was on the 5th, and we celebrated it by going to the swimming pool, having pizza and ice cream.  When she chose ice cream over cake, she wanted me to know that according to her everyone was allowed two big scoops instead of the usual one scoop we have when we have ice cream.  Funny how natural it is to think that just because it's your birthday, everyone has to do what you say.  (And I for one was totally in favor of her decision  :)  

It's hard to believe that our little Hali is already 4 years old.  And she is very proud of it too.  There is hardly a person who has had a conversation with her in the past 3 months that she has not told about her birthday, and the next one where she will be 5 and the next one where she will be 6...
