Tourists
We often travel through the capital city here and just take care of our paperwork, and shop for things to take back home, but we rarely just spend time seeing sights or being tourists. This last trip, we just happened to have an hour or so to kill and we were downtown near some of our country's largest landmarks. So we decided to act as tourists for the day. Here are some photos of the family.
After we walked around and took some pictures, we had the opportunity to be the main attraction as many of the people there wanted to have their photo at the capital with a white person. Now some random people have family photos with our family in them.
Lastly, I got a shot of something that we see everyday, but people at home might find interesting...people selling things on their heads. The guy below reminded me of the book, Caps For Sale, with the tall stack of eggs he carried on his head selling to people passing by.
