Hali Turns 3

If you asked Hali how old she is now, she would tell you she is "fwee".  We had a small party a couple days before her actual birthday, which is on the 5th, and in the days in between she kept telling us that on her next birthday she would really turn 3.  Here are a few pictures of the balloon volley ball, and the relay race at the party.

Then on her birthday we took a birthday hike into the forest behind our house.  We made it as far as the paint-ball battle grounds, and then turned around before we were up to our knees in mud.  (Unfortunately, some of us ended up with covered feet.)

Next up, a romp in the fallen leaves with friends.

Finally, we headed home for a birthday meal, per Hali's request, of burgers and fries (great choice kiddo)!

 


Lately, Hali's favorite things to do include dancing (to any kind of music), looking at books, eating Jelly Belly's, riding her bike on the deck, and playing with her newest friends (namely, Eliana S. and Haddasah) who "all want to be the mommy".  Life doesn't get much better than that!
